Union Theological Seminary is proud to present Life After Life, by Sara Bennett. In this exhibit, Sara Bennett, activist and criminal defense lawyer, shares photographs of women who have re-entered society after spending anywhere from 17 to 35 years in prison.
The evening’s event begins with a panel conversation with the four women who are subjects of the photographs, Sara Bennett, and Diana Ortiz. Diana has worked with Julio Medina and Exodus Transitional Community to help incarcerated mothers remain connected to their children and has dedicated herself to being a powerful voice in the battle for successful re-integration from prison.
