Pre-Season Athletics for 7-8 Grade

All 7-8 grade boys and girls interested in playing Hawk Soccer this Fall can participate in pre-season workouts with Coaches Fritz and Smiley. The workouts will run from August 31 – September 3 from 9a.m. to 11a.m. All soccer players should meet the coaches promptly at 9a.m. at Frederick Douglas Field at West 101 Street and Amsterdam. Players will need shin guards, soccer gear, a ball, and water bottle. The team will also work out on Wednesday & Thursday, September 9-10 from 3p.m. – 5 p.m. also at Frederick Douglas.
All 7-8 grade girls interested in playing Hawk Volleyball this Fall can participate in pre-season workouts with Coaches Laymon, Parker, Lucchesi, and Breidenthal. The workouts will run from August 31 – September 3 from 9a.m. to 11a.m. All volleyball players should meet the coaches promptly at 9a.m. in the gym. Players will need knee pads, athletic wear, supportive sneakers and a water bottle. The team will also work out on Wednesday & Thursday, September 9-10 from 3p.m. – 5p.m.
All 7-8 grade boys and girls interested in being part of our Hawk Cross Country team this Fall can participate in pre-season workouts with Coaches Blodgett and Thompson. The team will work out on Wednesday & Thursday, September 9-10 from 3p.m. – 4p.m. The team will meet outside the gym promptly at 3p.m. Runners will need supportive running shoes and a water bottle.
