Barnard student Maia Robinson '22 worked for months to establish a community refrigerator in Evanston. After it was destroyed in a car crash, her community stepped in to help.

“It’s always been my goal for people to understand this isn’t my fridge. This isn’t Evanston Fight for Black Lives’ fridge. This is everyone’s fridge. I want everyone to feel responsible for this fridge, and I was heart-warmed when I got the flood of messages, because it seems like everyone does.”
