In the continuing series Welcome to Class, Alison Pischedda, an assistant professor in the Biological Sciences department at Barnard College, discusses her class: Animal Behavior. The course examines a vast array of animals all over the world, primarily through the lens of natural selection and its impact on the animal kingdom. In response to COVID-19, students also examine how the first lockdown temporarily changed some animal behavior. Students were also able to participate remotely in a professional conference focusing on biological developments in the animal world.
During this time, all videos are produced in full adherence to COVID-19 protocol and safety measures.
