Being Latine at Columbia

Please join us on Wednesday, October 11, from 4:30-6:30pm in Butler Library, Room 522-523 for a conversation on Latine identity and how it affects the work of our four distinguished panelists in different disciplines and professions. The panel will also discuss the implications of recent debates on Latine identity and how it shapes the current moment.

Our panelists are Daniel Alarcón (Journalism), Adina Berrios Brooks (Office of the Provost), Frances Negrón-Muntaner (English), Deborah Paredez (Writing), and Mario Small (Sociology). The discussion will be moderated by Maria Victoria Murillo (Political Science).
