Bridging the Trust Gap: A NYCTF Report Launch

Join Columbia SIPA’s Institute for Global Politics and the SIPA Cyber Program for the launch of the New York Cyber Task Force’s third report: Bridging the Trust Gap. This in-person event, will bring together industry leaders, cybersecurity professionals, and academics to explore the public-private partnership. The event will take place on Monday, November 20, 2023 at Columbia SIPA.

The event will feature a fireside conversation with Colin Ahern, Chief Cyber Officer, New York State, followed by a panel discussion on the NYCTFs findings. Leading experts from the private sector, cybersecurity industry, and academia will weigh in on the report’s findings which identifies future opportunities in the public-private partnership.

The Task Force, composed of more than 40 experts from the cybersecurity industry, private sector, and academia, has spent the last year investigating the private sector’s perspective on the current and future state of operational collaboration, as well as to understand the federal government’s aims and aspirations in improving how industry and government work together.
