Business and Society Conference: What’s New?

Join us for an exciting and thought-provoking event that explores the future of business and society. This in-person conference will take place on Friday, November 10, 2023.

As part of The Hub’s ‘Business and Society’ focus, CBS faculty are advancing new scholarship aimed at guiding business leaders in considering both non-market forces and the concerns of diverse stakeholders in their decision-making processes, going beyond the traditional focus on shareholders. This half-day conference will highlight recent developments and breakthroughs in the field and feature a keynote conversation with Russell Carson, Founding Partner of Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe and Chairman Emeritus of Columbia Business School. Renowned experts and industry leaders will share their insights and experiences, providing valuable knowledge to help you navigate this ever-evolving landscape.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided for registered attendees while supplies last. Note that you will need to provide a government issued ID that matches the name used on your registration to enter the event. This session may be video recorded, and attendees’ faces may appear in the recording. For further inquiries or assistance, please contact us at thehub@gsb.columbia.edu.
