Putin’s invasion of Ukraine has prompted Finland and Sweden to seek NATO membership, highlighting NATO’s continued critical role in European security. Putin’s growing ties to China also have raised NATO concerns about “systemic challenges” Moscow and Beijing pose to the “rules-based international order.” This panel of NATO experts will discuss the broader implications for NATO of the war in Ukraine and expanded Russian-Chinese relations.
