Please join the Harriman Institute for a discussion with Maria Stepanova on her recent work “Focus.” Moderated by Mark Lipovetsky.
“Focus” – a new prose work by Maria Stepanova, poet and essayist, author of the novel “Memory of Memory”, translated into more than 20 languages. Because of a railway strike, the writer M. makes an unscheduled stop in a small European town. Following the cancelled train, away from the rolling rails of destiny and its historical setting, the heroine’s life begins to change.
