Haunted Fountain, Kimera Festival, & Taste W111th
W111th Street Block Association, Morningside Merchants, Cathedral of St. John the Divine, and International Brazilian Opera Company are teaming up for a great day of community events.
Neighbors, please join us on Saturday, 10/26, 2-8pm at the Open Street on Amsterdam & W111th (rain date 10/27). This will be a full day of Halloween activities, music, and support for local businesses:
2-8pm: Kimera Festival of Music & Storytelling: DJ and live music by local and international performances
3-5pm: Haunted Fountain at the Cathedral: trick-or-treating, games, arts & crafts
5-6pm: Halloween costume parade for kids, adults, and pets
5-7pm: Taste w111th Local Restaurant Showcase. Purchase tasting passports for a culinary tour of Morningside Heights to support local businesses. The passports will allow you to sample food at five local eateries. Available for $20 on site; net proceeds go to participating restaurants.
