To inaugurate the Byzantine Studies Conference (and to celebrate its 50th anniversary), keynote lecturer Henry Maguire (Professor Emeritus, Johns Hopkins University) will present “The Politics of Imperial Dress in Byzantium, Sicily, Venice, and Rome.”
