How to Improve Wellness for Teachers: 7 Proven ways to nurture your mental health as an educator
In 2023, Arianna Prothero, of Education Week highlighted that 56% of educators in a Massachusetts private institution reported their overall health had declined during the past 2022-2023 school year. Between classroom sizes and paperwork increasing, constant district-wide changes, differentiation of student deliverables, and parental engagement, teachers are burning out. As educators, we put our hearts and souls into everything we do – oftentimes sacrificing our personal and professional protected time. While educators work tirelessly to push past these barricades every day, we also know that their mental health is suffering.
This workshop is aimed at educators to understand the theory and practical application skills to address the decline in mental health. Participants will walk away with evidence-based practices to nurture their mental health in order to reduce burnout and provide the best practice for our students and families.
