Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the 1921 African American production at the center of the Harlem Renaissance. “Shuffle Along” was composed by Eubie Blake with lyrics by Noble Sissle with the comedy team of Flournoy Miller and Aubrey Lyles. “Shuffle Along” is credited with launching the careers of Josephine Baker, Florence Mills, Bill Robinson, and Paul Robeson. The orchestra included Hall Johnson and William Grant Still.
