Neighborhood Cleanup – The Great Broadway Sweep

When New Yorkers come together, great things happen.

Meet us at Mitchel Square on Tuesday, September 19 at 10am and join a group of dedicated volunteers to help clean up Broadway, the “World’s Most Famous Street.”

The Sanitation Foundation and We Love NYC are partnering up to lead nine morning cleanups over five days. The route begins with two cleanups taking place at the far ends of Manhattan – City Hall at the South and Inwood to the North. Each day we’ll progress closer towards Times Square and we’ll end with a massive cleanup and celebration in the heart of NYC.

FAQs

WHAT TO WEAR: Comfortable clothing that can get dirty & closed-toe shoes. Hats and sunglasses are also recommended.

WHAT TO BRING: Water bottle & sunscreen. All tools and necessary equipment will be provided

WHAT NOT TO BRING: Please note, there is no onsite storage for valuables. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

RESTROOM ACCESS: We try our best, but we cannot always guarantee access to a public restroom during the event; please plan accordingly.

PARTICIPANT AGE REQUIREMENT: Children under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult.
