Party on Park

Come bike, walk & scoot at Party On Park 2023! We’ll open the spaces under & along the Park Avenue Viaduct in East Harlem for family-friendly fun for all ages.

 

Activities take place at each intersection under the train tracks. Get set for:

 

125TH STREET: Adult Bikes. Citi Bike is coming to unlock the bike station! Plus join in on a group ride with Urban Upbound.

 

124TH STREET: Music & Street Art. Dance to the Ted Smooth Oldschool Jam & watch live street art with the Grandscale Mural Project.

 

123RD STREET: Health Screenings. Free health screenings, including flu shots, dental checks, blood pressure readings and foot exams.

 

122ND STREET: Train Zone: Get the lowdown on upcoming infrastructure projects including the Park Avenue Viaduct Replacement and Second Avenue Subway.

 

121ST STREET: Kids. Face painting, art-making, storytime, big games, the Street Lab BUILD Cart & more. Plus a bounce house & rock wall!

 

120TH STREET: Skateboarding. Skateboarding with provided safety gear and instruction.

 

119TH STREET: Resources. Meet reps from neighborhood groups that provide resources for you and your family.

 

118TH STREET: Kid Bikes. Bring the kids to take a kid-sized bike for a spin.

 

117TH STREET: Fitness: Exercise classes and obstacle courses for all ages.

 

115TH STREET: Bomba, Plena y Lechon! Celebrate the 40th anniversary of Los Pleneros de la 21 with a family bombazo, plus mark the one-year anniversary of La Marqueta’s own Cocotazo with a pig roast.

 

112TH STREET: Free Helmets. Free bike helmets for all ages from the NYC Department of Transportation & Deputy Speaker Diana Ayala.

 

111TH STREET: Environment & Culture. Discover the new location of Urban Garden Center and learn more about environment & cultural initiatives in the neighborhood.

 

Hydration Stations: Along the route at Henry J. Carter Hospital & Lydia’s Magic Garden.

 

Party On Park is organized by Uptown Grand Central, with support from NYC Deputy Speaker Diana Ayala, Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine, Community Board 11, the Harlem Neighborhood Health Action Center, NYC Department of Small Business Services, NYC Department of Transportation & Citi Bike powered by Lyft.
