Poor People’s Campaign 101: The Myths of Poverty

Join The Riverside Church for a deep dive into Poor People’s Campaign 101: “Addressing the Myths of Poverty” on Sunday, February 18th, at 1:30 PM in South Hall and Online. Our very own Mission & Social Justice leaders, Derrick Binney-Ammisah and Arelis Figueroa, as well as the New York State Poor People’s Campaign tri-chair Kelly Smith will lead us as we explore the fundamental principles, moral agenda, and current goals of the campaign; discover how The Riverside Church can get more involved; and, of course, sing the songs of the movement.

As the primary partner of Mission and Social Justice, the Poor People’s Campaign plays a crucial role in our collective efforts to support those in need. Let’s unite to strengthen coalitions and advance our mission of social justice.
