Tennis Ball Cleanup in the Bird Sanctuary

You know when you’re mid-volley, feeling sharp, and then your tennis ball goes soaring over the court’s fence into the beyond never to be seen again?

Don’t worry – no one’s calling fault! We’re inviting you to show off some fancy footwork and give some love to Riverside Park’s Bird Sanctuary, located along the east border of the 119th St Tennis Courts, to remove the hundreds of tennis balls that have accumulated over the years.

This border has been newly cleared of brush, leaving easy access for an ace team of volunteers to come to the net and clean up our park!

Game, set, match. You in?
