Testbeds: Scaling and Piloting Frontier Tech

As new and emerging technologies are developed and brought to market, cities and their partners have been working on ways to test and evaluate their use and benefits in urban environments through the creation of Testbeds and Living Labs. As a tech and innovation hub, New York City government and city institutions have developed programs that will allow companies, universities, and City agencies an opportunity to test and evaluate new technologies before moving to scale them more broadly. This panel will be host to several local representatives who will speak to their organization’s innovation programs and how they can benefit NYC and its tech ecosystem.
