The Art of Diplomacy with Ambassador Stuart E. Eizenstat

Join Columbia University’s Negotiation and Conflict Resolution program for an evening with Ambassador Stuart Eizenstat who will discuss his career, negotiations, and new book, “The Art of Diplomacy” with NECR Program Director Dr. Beth Fisher-Yoshida, followed by audience QA. Guests are invited to stay for a reception afterwards.

About “The Art of Diplomacy”:

At a time when the world is in turmoil and conflict, the veteran U.S. diplomat and negotiator Stuart E. Eizenstat makes the case for the importance of diplomacy to meet America’s greatest global challenges.

Written from the perspective that only a participant in top-level negotiations can bring, “The Art of Diplomacy” recounts the events that led up to each set of negotiations and the drama that took place around the table, while drawing important lessons for the future, including for the wars in Ukraine and in Gaza. Ambassador Eizenstat will provide invaluable insights for anyone involved in government or business negotiations.
