Dr. Loos is Vice-executive director of the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research at the University of Copenhagen, and Director of the Genetics of Obesity and Related Metabolic Traits Program, in the Charles R. Bronfman Institute of Personalized Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Loos is an internationally-recognized leader in the study on the identification of genes and genetic loci contributing to the risk of obesity and related metabolic traits.
