The Global Cascade of Repression Against Transnational Activism
Speaker: Victoria Tin-bor Hui, Associate Professor, Department of Political Science, University of Notre Dame
Moderator: Amy Freedman, Professor and Department Chair of Political Science at Pace University, WEAI, Columbia University

Not content with silencing dissent at home, they have pursued opposition leaders who have continued transnational advocacy in exile. This talk will focus on Hong Kong while highlighting similarities in a global cascade of transnational repression.
