The Intruders

The Intruders is the story when gentrification hits a decaying urban block, and a silent battle ensues. Blacks, who have inhabited the neighborhood for generations, are resistant to the White urban pioneers and the sweeping changes they bring that threaten the inherent culture. When a tragic incident shakes the neighborhood’s core, will it wage war? Or will humanity step up and forge a bridge to connect the old with the new? The Bison Repertory Theater Company was founded in 2015 by Howard University classmates that honed their craft within the coveted walls of the Fine Arts Building and cut their teeth on the historical Ira Aldridge stage in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The goal of the theater company is to build on the distinct legacy of the Howard University Drama Department. The Bison Repertory Theater Company is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
