The Town Hall and Belongó: The Man with the Golden Horn
A very NYC celebration of the music of James Bond
Arturo O’Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra meet up with legendary downtown composer and arranger Steven Bernstein to take a wild ride through the iconic music of 007. Joining the festivities are a variety of special guests. The classic James Bond scores will be shaken (and stirred) in with an Afro Latin big band setting along with a strong dose of NYC underground jazz, and a nod to Charlie Palmieri’s organ playing.
This boisterous evening of musical celebration will also be the closing night of the Bryant Park Picnic Performances 2024 season.
