“From Mozart to Montgomery”: enjoy Mozart’s beloved Quintet in g minor, the gifted and path-breaking African American composer Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson’s Quartet #1 (“Calvary”), and New York’s own brilliant composer Jessie Montgomery’s exhilarating Strum, performed by members of the Harlem Chamber Players and Margo Shohl.
