Voices of Jerusalem
The Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) will be hosting an in person “Voices of Jerusalem” lunch and learn event. Rabbi Donna Cephas, an alum of JTS’s William Davidson School, joined Rev. Dr. Ursula Rudnick, an alum of JTS’s Kekst Graduate School, Shifa Mahmood, and Katherine Vizcaino to elicit the personal narratives of Jewish, Christian, and Muslim women in Jerusalem. Using a film and text of their conversations and a photo exhibit of these remarkable Jerusalem women, Rabbi Cephas, Ms. Mahmood, and Rev. Rudnick via Zoom will lead a discussion workshop of how we might connect with the personal narratives of these women and with each other in our own communities.
The workshop and a dairy lunch are free of charge, but reservations are required.
