What’s at Stake on 11/8: A Dying or Thriving Democracy
Join us for conversation with Andrea Miller and Rev. Michael Livingston on what is at stake in the November 2022 midterms. Rev. Livingston will offer a meditation on Senator Warnock’s comment: “A vote is a kind of prayer for the kind of world we desire for ourselves and for our children, and our prayers are stronger when we pray together.”
Andrea Miller is a Founding Board Member of The Center for Common Ground and leader in many other activist organizations. She is a digital and elections strategist, designing and administering digital phonebanks and texting programs. Her expertise is in voting rights, climate and the Equal Rights Amendment. She has successfully advocated for legislation on both the Federal and State level.
Riversiders support Andrea’s work fighting voter suppression through postcard writing and telephone banking with Reclaim Our Vote, a campaign of the non-partisan 501(c)(3) organization, Center for Common Ground. Reclaim Our Vote campaigns empower under-represented voters, particularly people of color in voter suppression states, by providing voter information on how to monitor their voter registration status, find voting locations (vote centers, dropboxes and voting precincts) as well as county contacts for local boards of elections or registrars.
