CTH returns to Bryant Park on Sept. 1st, 7 PM with “Young, Gifted and Black,” a Bryant Park Picnic Performance inspired by the inimitable Icons Lorraine Hansberry and Nina Simone. Free entry, first come, first served. Starring Tony Award nominee Crystal Lucas-Perry, Edward W. Hardy, Emery Mason, Kaden Kennedy, Roen Jones & Melissa Mosley.
The set list will include classical and modern hits performed by these young talents, as well as a moving monologue from Lucas-Perry’s Tony-nominated role in “Ain’t No Mo’”
Attendees can bring their own food or purchase from on-site vendors. Local artisanal vendors curated by Hester Street Fair offer diverse culinary options.
