The New Year’s Eve Concert for Peace – Thursday, December 31, 2020

The New Year’s Eve Concert for Peace, founded by Leonard Bernstein in 1984, is a Cathedral tradition spanning more than three decades. Tonight, we welcome you to a virtual celebration as we usher out the departing year and welcome in the new. Eminent broadcast journalist Harry Smith, a longtime friend of the Cathedral, will join The Right Reverend Clifton Daniel III, Dean, with music selected and performed by Kent Tritle, Director, Cathedral Music, with Jamet Pittman, soprano; David Briggs, organ; Arthur Fiacco, Jr., cello; and the fine talents of the Cathedral Choir.

This year and every year, your generous contributions are greatly appreciated by all who partake of the Cathedral’s services, concerts, programs, and outreach. If you are moved to make a donation to the Cathedral, please visit
