Celeste Lacy Davis, an activist and griot with a camera, will be exploring the lives and challenges of America’s senior citizens through photography and discussion.
Janessa Waiters, a former nanny, will be building an organization to provide counseling, mediation, and support to domestic care workers in Harlem.
Marco Lienhard, a performer on an array of traditional Japanese instruments, will be researching the use and performance of Japanese music internationally.
Moet Fontanez, a plus-size model and artist, will use narrative media to bring awareness to late diagnosis of autism in women.
Marie Winfield, an advocate for East Harlem, will explore the historical land use and future of a sanitation garage and a correctional facility in Harlem.
