Aimee Toner is a senior at Barnard College pursuing a double major in Ethnomusicology and Economics. She is also in the Manhattan School of Music Lesson Exchange and takes lessons with Professor Linda Chesis. Toner has performed in numerous esteemed ensembles and venues along the East Coast. She has lead in orchestral settings by playing principal, piccolo, and assistant parts for the New York Youth Symphony, the Columbia University Orchestra, the American Youth Orchestra, the Claremont Chamber Orchestra, and the Columbia Pops Orchestra.
Nikki Pet, of Glastonbury, CT, began playing clarinet at age ten. She currently studies with Alan Kay through the Columbia-Juilliard Exchange. Pet has previously attended summer programs including Kneisel Hall, Domaine Forget, the Boston University Tanglewood Institute and Greenwood Music Camp. Ensembles she has participated in include the New Juilliard Ensemble, the New York Youth Symphony, and the Boston Youth Symphony. She received first place in the 2016 Hartford Music Club Competition, top prize in the 2015 International Grande Music Competition, and first prize in the 2015 Korean Radio Broadcast Competition. She will graduate in 2020 with a degree in computer science.
