Lisa Dale – Adaptation and Resilience on a Global Scale

February 3, 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

This intimate discussion with Professor Lisa Dale and the Tricentennial Project will explore a global view of climate change. Specifically, the group will discuss sustainable development practices being put into action across the globe, as well as their varying effects, exploring how adaptation to climate change is driven by different forms of environmental policy. This event aims to draw a main comparison between regulations of public lands in sub-Saharan Africa and western North America, and explore not only the issues that are being tackled now, but how we might look forward into the future and generate new solutions.

Event Speaker

  • Lisa Dale, Lecturer in the Discipline of Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Biology at Columbia University
