Day of Music * Discovery * Culture in Morningside Heights and Hamilton Heights

Morningside Area Alliance, along with Harlem One Stop and members of the Harlem Cultural Collaborative, is proud to present a day of exploration in Morningside Heights and Hamilton Heights. The events are featured as part of Open House New York Weekend.

West Harlem, treasured for its cultural legacy, vibrant multicultural community, and renowned religious and academic institutions, invites visitors to a Culture Crawl through some of the neighborhood’s established and lesser-known cultural organizations. Explore one or both neighborhoods and experience how the area’s unique structures and organizations keep Harlem at the helm of culture today.

Morningside Heights:

  • Meet up at West 122nd Street and Riverside Drive
  • SELF-GUIDED WALKING TOURS – pick up a map from check-in
  • 11am, 2pm (SOLD OUT) – Guided neighborhood walking tour
  • 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:00 pm Riverside Church Tower Tour
  • 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm Music performances in Sakura Park
