Housing is an essential human right that supports all others, such as health, education and ability to thrive.  The Affordable Housing crisis in Harlem is a complex challenge—with unique intersections, including race—that requires an understanding of history, past decisions, present conditions and what is truly needed in the near future to establish housing as a permanent and inviolable right.  Senator Cordell Cleare is holding a series of events to delve deeply into every type of housing and provide a comprehensive blueprint of solutions.
