Join the Cathedral’s Schola Cantorum!

Music is a major part of life at the Cathedral, and sharing it with the young singers in the Cathedral’s Schola Cantorum makes it even more special. Director of Music Kent Tritle and Organ Scholar Samuel Kuffuor-Afriyie sat down with Schola member Zach to talk about the experience of singing with this youth choral ensemble, in the Cathedral and at Carnegie Hall!

The Schola Cantorum is currently auditioning singers for the upcoming season. If you’re a singer in middle or high school in the NYC area, Schola might be perfect for you! Schola members perform with the Cathedral Choirs and Orchestra for our Christmas and Spring concerts, and participate in regularly scheduled services, including Christmas Eve and Easter and the Cathedral’s signature Blessing of the Animals.
