How Vets Can Use GI Bill Benefits to Attend Columbia University

Columbia University connected with the Department of Veterans Affairs to host part of their national school tour. The tour connected prospective students with veterans on campus to talk a bit more about the Harry Colmery Act, the Forever GI Bill, and how they can take advantage of their GI Bill benefits to finance their education at schools like Columbia. There are approximately 700 veterans on campus, which span both the undergraduate and graduate student populations. The University also provides assistance in the transition from military to civilian life, such as counseling services and job placement guidance.
