Nurses Are “Fighting Their Fears and Stepping Up” During COVID-19

Kellie Bryant, executive director of simulation and assistant professor at the School of Nursing, describes how the coronavirus pandemic has been even more challenging than working through the worst days after 9/11. Like many of her colleagues, she is scared of getting the virus, but she puts that fear aside, knowing that she chose this profession to make a positive impact on people’s lives.
