CARES Act Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund Student Allocation Summary and Quarterly Grant Report

Union Theological Seminary (Union) has received funding under the CARES Act to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students. Union returned the signed Certification and Agreement to the Department and will use no less than 50% of funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students.
As of September 30, 2021, Union was awarded total funds of $134,359 under the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund 18004(a)(1) Student Portion and $156,507 under the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund 18004(a)(1) Institutional Portion. Union will allocate 100% of the funding from our 18004(a)(1) Student Portion and 16% of the 18004(1)(a) Institutional Portions to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under the Union CARES: CARES Act COVID-19 Emergency Funding Program.
As of September 30, 2021, Union has awarded $50,317 under the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund 18004(a)(1) Student Portion and $24,722 under the Institutional Portion, totaling $75,039 of CARES
