You are cordially invited to attend the inaugural Barnard/Columbia Public Interest CareerFair, hosted by Barnard College and Community Impact at Columbia University. The Fair will take place on Friday, February 28, 2014 from 11am – 2pm in LeFrak Gymnasium on Barnard’s campus. The Public Interest Career Fair will provide employers from all public sector industries unique and convenient opportunities to meet with motivated and interested Barnard and Columbia students. Approximately 9,200 undergraduate students are invited to the career fair. Attending the career fair is an excellent way for organizations to gain visibility on campus and maximize recruiting potential at Barnard College and Columbia University.
To register for the Career Fair, you must have an account in Barnard’s online jobs board, NACELink. To register in NACELink, please follow the below instructions. If you are already a registered NACELink employer, you may skip ahead to the “Register for the Career Fair” steps below.
To register as a NACELink Employer:
Click on the “Register” tab located on the right half of the page. Then complete the displayed fields and hit submit. You will receive an email confirming your registration.
To register for the Career Fair:
Once logged into NACELink, click on the drop-down arrow next to the “Events” tab on the left side of the page. You will then see a drop-down menu with several options. Click on “Career Fairs”, which will be the first menu item under “Events”. Then, click on the “Barnard/Columbia Community Impact Career Fair,February 28, 2014” link. Click register, and complete the displayed fields. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your registration.
You will then receive a subsequent email once your career fair registration has been approved.
Please be advised – we anticipate registration will fill quickly, as we are limited to 60 employer attendees. Accordingly, we advise you to register early to secure a spot. We will also maintain a “wait list” once we reach capacity.
