Felipe Tristán, breaks barriers in New York – Explica .co

MSM Precollege faculty member Felipe Tristan celebrates his 10th anniversary as a conductor in the US with commissions, recordings, and concerts, including one at Carnegie Hall in May 2022 where he will perform the re-orchestration of the work Canto a la Música, by the Mexican composer Samuel Zyman, among other works.
For this, and for next year’s concert at Carnegie Hall, Felipe will visit Mexico to search for at least thirty voices.
Felipe is the Founder and Music Director of the Symphony Orchestra of the Americas, an organization that promotes Latin American concert music as well as intercontinental dialogue and collaboration.
