#TBT August 2001: Doors open to Manhattan School of Music’s newly constructed residence hall, named after donors G. Chris and SungEun Andersen (Class of 1987) and designed by the firm Beyer Blinder Belle. In addition to the dormitory, the 19-story structure would eventually house a new library, two performance spaces, a campus store, and a president’s residence.
