Manhattan School of Music faculty member Jorge Parodi has a busy, and very high profile summer!

Tonight, he’s conducting the second installment of the Beaumarchais trilogy, “¡Figaro!” (90210), to close the 90th season of the respected The Chautauqua Opera Company.

Next month, he’s conducting the world premiere of Michael Ching’s “The Birthday Clown” at Savannah VOICE Festival (August 21), then will conduct “The Pearl Fishers” at Opera in Williamsburg (September 4–8), “Frida” at The Atlanta Opera (October 5–13), and “Carmen” at Opera Tampa (February 7–9) later this season.

Bravo, Jorge!
