Morningside Heights Venue Access for Visitors Fall 2021

Before visiting the following institutions, please review their current Covid-19 related precautions and access requirements.

Barnard College: Information Link
Summary:

Visitors are generally permitted on the campus grounds and must complete a Visitor Health Screening Form upon arrival (QR code to scan available at the main gate at 117th St). Visitors may enter the Admissions Visitors Center and the Diana Center for bathroom access and to visit the Barnard Store and Liz’s Place Cafe (limited hours for both).

Only visitors with official business as determined by authorized College representatives are permitted indoors in areas other than the first floor of the Diana Center, the Barnard Store, and the Admissions Visitor Center. Such visitors must complete a Visitor Health Screening Form upon arrival (QR code to scan available at the main gate at 117th St), and then must be escorted by their Barnard liaison to and from their meeting. They must adhere to all campus safety procedures. Additionally, visitors on official business must stay only as long as their scheduled meeting and must only visit designated approved locations.

Cathedral St. John the Divine: Information Link

Columbia University: Information Link
Summary: No visitor policy is in effect.

Who is a Visitor?
Anyone who is not an enrolled student or does not have an employment relationship with Columbia or affiliated schools is to be considered a visitor, with the exception of retired faculty and persons living in Columbia housing who have a living arrangement with the Columbia affiliate that is usually characterized as a spousal or other personal relationship. University health and safety policies, which include symptom attestation, testing and in most cases, mandatory vaccination, apply in all cases. All other persons coming to Columbia from an outside employment or school relationship are considered visitors. Alumni, non-faculty retirees and contractors are considered visitors.

The Interchurch Center
Summary: Appointment required; Attestation Form, Masks required in all public spaces

International House
Summary: Appointment required, Health Screening and Attestation at Check-In, Temperature Checks, Masks required in all public spaces.

Jewish Theological Seminary

Appointments are required for all visitors. Waiver and Attestation Form in advance of the visit.  Visitors are required to be vaccinated (final shot + 2 weeks), but if unable must provide a recent PCR test. Any person who is a member of the JTS community is permitted to visit the Library, pursuant to our COVID-19 distancing guidelines.

Manhattan School of Music: Information Link
Summary: Appointment required, Attestation Form and Temperature Check

The Riverside Church: Information Link
Summary: Masks are required for all, Temperature Check, Event and performance attendees must show proof of vaccination.

Teachers College: Information Link
Summary: 12 years of age+, Appointment required, Proof of Vaccination or negative PCR test within seven days of the visit, Attestation Form, Masks required indoors.

Union Theological Seminary: Information Link
