Happy Administrative Professionals Day!
National Administrative Professionals’ Day is celebrated on the Wednesday of the last full week in April each year. This observance started in 1952 when the U.S. Secretary of Commerce, Charles Sawyer, proclaimed a week in June as National Secretaries’ Week. That same year, June 4th was designated as National Secretaries’ Day. In 2000, the term Secretary was changed to Administrative Professional and the events were moved to April.
On April 21, 2021, the extraordinary group of men and women who support our leadership team were honored by the Rewards & Recognition Committee with a special flower delivery. Their tireless dedication to the organization was reflected this past year through the pandemic, from learning how to navigate Zoom to managing an enormous increase in meetings due to COVID-19 planning. We salute your contributions to the mission of Mount Sinai Morningside to provide compassionate patient care.
To our Administrative Professionals, we thank you, and we appreciate you every single day. ⭐️
