Today, we hosted a farewell celebration to bid Dr. Lindsey Gottlieb, Director of Infection Prevention, farewell and good luck in her future beyond Mount Sinai Morningside.
For the celebration, leadership and staff members across the hospital came together to commemorate Dr. Gottlieb and all her accomplishments during her time at MSM. The event, which was held both in-person for fully vaccinated individuals and on Zoom, was hosted by Dr. Brian Radbill, Chief Medical Officer, and featured Arthur Gianelli, President, and Bernard Camins, Medical Director of Infection Prevention at the Mount Sinai Health System who spoke fondly on Dr. Gottlieb’s successful (and interesting!) career at our hospital. The event was a big success and gave us all a chance to honor Dr. Gottlieb’s career through laughter, some tears, and cheers.
Dr. Gottlieb’s impact on Mount Sinai Morningside was immense and far-reaching. Her passion, drive, and relentless pursuit of safety and excellence helped Mount Sinai Morningside through an unprecedented crisis that challenged every one of us. For her leadership and thoughtful guidance throughout the pandemic, we all owe her a tremendous debt of gratitude.
We will miss you, Dr. Gottlieb! We wish you the best in your future. 😊🎉
(P.S.—Zoom in on the fourth floor bridge for a sweet send off for Dr. Gottlieb! 😎)
