Tracing Slavery’s Impact on African American Public Health Today

“Look at the moment the Constitution was framed.” Examining the history of oppression in the 400 years since 1619 — when Africans were first kidnapped & brought to the United States as slaves — scholars at TC discussed slavery’s contemporary impact during a recent conference.
