On April 24, 2012, over 300 guests gathered at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers for Bank Street’s Trustees’ Dinner.
The College was delighted to honor Yolanda Ferrell-Brown (pictured above with husband Alvin Brown). Yolanda is President of Ferrell-Brown Design, Inc., and a devoted trustee, parent of two School for Children alumni, and beloved member of the Bank Street community.
The College was also proud to present the Founder’s Award to Charlotte Frank. Charlotte is the Senior Vice President, Research and Development, for McGraw-Hill Education, and a longtime friend of Bank Street and tireless advocate for education. Emcee Dick Parsons kept everyone entertained as guests enjoyed dinner, conversation, an informative video about Community Roots Charter School, founded by a Bank Street alumna, and several moving tributes to Yolanda and to Charlotte.
