Elizabeth Dickey to retire at the end of the summer of 2014

Dear Bank Street Community,
As you are aware, Bank Street’s President, Elizabeth Dickey, has announced her decision to retire at the end of the summer of 2014 after six years of service to the institution. We are writing to update you on the upcoming Presidential Search process.
We will be engaging the search firm of Storbeck/Pimentel & Associates, LLC to assist us in the process. Shelly Weiss-Storbeck of Storbeck/Pimentel worked with Bank Street on the last two presidential searches and has an almost 20-year relationship with the institution. She knows our culture and values well and we are confident we will be well-served by her and her firm yet again.
The Presidential Search Committee is in the process of being composed. The committee will include statutory trustees as well as individuals from various constituencies of our community. At this stage we have identified those trustees who will serve. They are Yolanda Ferrell-Brown, Chair Elect, Tony Asnes, Chair of the Board of Trustees, Jonathan Cole, Sarah Gund, Sue Kaplan, Joel Moser, Elizabeth Pforzheimer, Sandra Pinnavaia, Anne Shutkin, and Lynn Straus.
We will soon be contacting staff and faculty to invite them to serve on the Committee. We will do this in consultation with the Cabinet, and upon reviewing the information about those individuals who served in the 07/08 presidential search. Search Committee planning meetings will commence later this summer and the Board will engage in a listening tour with staff, faculty, and parents during the months of September and October.
Reaching out broadly to our community
