Memories of Sakura Park Global Festival

Who says a summer camp can only happen in the summer?
In March, kids on spring break who are pining for summer fun can attend the Bank Street March Madness Camp from March 19 through March 30. March Madness is part of the Summer Camp’s initiative to create exciting and cutting edge programs during schools vacations.

Campers can sign up for one week or two week programs. Lunch is included, as Chef Chad from Bank Street Kitchen will provide a healthy lunch on a daily basis.
While Gabe Meyers normally teaches the Film Writing and Directing program during the summer, this March he will be teaching the new Web-based Storytelling program. They will explore visual expression and learn the valuable skills of web design. Each camper will make their own “choose your own adventure” story using this up-and-coming medium.
Evi Rivera-Williams, who teaches the 6/7s, and Dario Palimalo, who heads one of the Spanish Immersion camps during the summer, will head the Spanish Immersion program.
