Teachers College Campus
Teachers College’s campus access and operating status remains unchanged at this time. All Columbia-affiliated community members, as well as guests and visitors, may access TC’s campus. This includes the Zankel Hall entrance as well as the 528 access point and driveway. Campus access continues to be available from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily.
TC Community members and Columbia affiliates are required to swipe for access. Visitors and guests can gain access by checking in with a government-issued ID at the Public Safety desk, located in Zankel Hall.
Any changes to TC’s campus access will be communicated.
Columbia’s Morningside Campus
Columbia has announced campus access updates for the coming days. Effective today and tomorrow, (October 6 and 7 and possibly later into the week), CU is no longer accepting the QR codes generated when guest access to the Morningside campus is requested. “Anyone who is not a current employee or student is considered a guest for this purpose.” CU will work closely with TC and other CU school leadership to determine if/where guest access is critical.
Read Interim President Katrina Armstrong’s full message. For the most recent updates from Columbia University regarding the CU campus, please visit the CU Campus Updates page.
