Dear Members of the TC Community:Like many of you, I am still processing the results of this consequential election. We know that there will be profound implications on the direction of our country and the world. And I also know that a number of you are concerned about what lies ahead, especially given the polarization and divisiveness that has intensified through these campaigns. So I want to focus on our TC strengths: our values, our commitment to research, scholarship and practice, all geared toward making our world better and more equitable. We are a caring, inclusive and compassionate community. We embrace our diversity. I keep that top of mind, especially during periods of uncertainty. What is certain is my commitment to ensuring we are able to do what we came here to do: continue our teaching, and continue our research, scholarship and practice across the fields of education, health, and psychology, with a focus on impact. I am grateful that our Office of the Vice President for Diversity and Community Affairs has provided an opportunity for us to gather and reflect, and I hope you will join us to be among friends and colleagues.
